How can the Believe in Santa Foundation do this for free?
The Believe in Santa Foundation works hard raising the necessary funds, so that there is never a cost to a child in need or family to get a visit from Santa. Monetary donations, new unwrapped toys and gift cards, as well as wrapping paper are always welcome to help us in our efforts.
How early should I nominate a child or family?
There are a lot of children in need and families that can benefit from a visit from Santa Claus. So, it’s never too early to submit your nomination.
How do I nominate a child or family?
Your nomination form must be in writing and include as many details as possible, including the reason for the visit, ages of the children, address and contact information for the nominee as well as the person submitting the nomination.
Can I nominate my child or our family?
No. A nomination must be submitted by someone associated with another non-profit organization, a member of a recognized media outlet, public safety agency, or someone not related to the nominee.
What dates are available for these visits?
While Santa Claus is associated with Christmas, he has a lot of free time on several other days of the year. A visit from Santa can be arranged for most anytime, and not just for Christmas.
How will I know if the child I nominated has been selected?
A staff member of the Believe in Santa Foundation will contact you.
What will Santa Claus wear?
Santa Claus wears a custom designed suit with real leather boots, a real leather belt with a shiny custom made belt buckle, and sports a real mustache and beard.
Can Santa Claus deliver presents?
Yes. Part of the joy of a visit from Santa Claus is seeing the smiling faces on the children as he distributes presents.
When Santa arrives and during his visit, how should he be addressed?
Always address him as Santa, or Santa Claus.
